Default 05 XJR fuel pump delivery

Do the x350 supercharged have 2 actual fuel pumps... I have a canister and pump assembly on the drivers side. On the passenger side there is no pump.. it's like a stand with the sending unit, but there is no actual pump....Is this the correct fuel delivery... THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Supercharged engines have two actual fuel pump assemblies. To answer sounds like someone swapped out the wrong assembly. Surprised your vehicle actually is running with no codes.

That's what I thought.. do you know what the part numbers are for both of the whole assemblies are...or where I can get a second hand assembly for the passenger side.

The early xjr's have 2 fuel pump modules, one either side of the saddle tank which run simultaneously, driven by a PWM signal.
From G49701 the xjr switched to a single pump module on the left hand side (as non xjr's) and a sender module on the right. If your VIN is G49701 or later you should have the single pump set up.

The early two pump xjr's also have an additional fuel pump driver module that drives the additional pump on the right from a signal from the ECM. The left hand pump is driven by the REM. So the wiring loom, ECU wiring,/programming etc etc are different.

It's unlikely that an early two pump xjr could run with the later single pump arrangement without at least throwing codes/restricted performance as the car will know the second pump is missing.

Ok, my Vin is G37027...
I bought the car with 163,000miles... when I started working on the driver's side pump (it would leak when I filled the tank, it also would hesitate at wide open throttle and would have the restricted performance on, but would go off after driving for about 5mins).. I noticed that the pump had been worked on prior.... I then noticed that the passenger side had also been accessed prior. Passenger side does not have the pump, it has the sending unit.. I thought it should have the second pump setup. So I bought a pair of pumps from an 04 xjr... I am going to swap them out after I make sure that the ones I'm getting are good...(I bought them used).... thanks again...
