Default 05 xjr fuel pumps

I have an 05 jaguar xjr and I believe that someone has worked on the fuel pumps.... the drivers side pump is a pump with a housing.. the passenger side does not have a pump... it's something else... don't know what you call it.... my research seems to indicate that it should also be a pump.... this is my vin number...SAJWA73B45TG37027.... I am looking for someone to please verify that I should have 1 or 2 pumps.... thanks

What is under the seat? Your fuel pump access should be there. I think you should have two. What issues are you having that you are investigating the pumps? Common issue for those with two pumps is the fuel gauge shows something other than empty but the car seems to be out of fuel.

Here is a link to your fuel system parts. Tank appears to have two pumps. https://www.jaguarparts.com/v-2005-j...tem-components

Default 05 xjr fuel pump

I have been under the seat... that's how I know that I have a pump on the drivers side and a sending unit on the passenger side... the restricted performance light would come on... mostly in city driving... when I drove on highway it would go off....so I decided to check out the fuel pumps..... I was told that somewhere in the 05 xjr year that they did change to the setup that I currently have.... my Vin number would be the only way to be sure what setup I should have.... that's why I posted my Vin... hoping that someone knew where the pumps changed

Somewhere on site is the actual pump part of the assembly replacement write up
Believe Delco is a brand mentioned for, about $35 or $40.

I am not in the problem, at least yet.... LOLs. But Ebay for the pumps seems to be the easy inexpensive route. But for the entire housing and pump there are proud of it for between 1,200 and 1,400!
