Default 05 XJR - Sourcing alternative parts: Brake System

Good day, I値l try to keep this short and simple. I need some parts that are literally missing from my car. I知 having trouble locating them, and when I do the cost is beyond exorbitant.

Brake Dust Shields - all 4 corners
Parking Brake Caliper - both rear

Ao far I致e been able to source all the plugs and pigtails and such to fix all 6 markers that were bad. Still working on exercising some other demons, but the above parts have me stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated!

go to the junkyard and drill the rivets out of any used stype or 350 knuckle

don稚 use the parkbrake or pay up for a used one

That痴 what I was thinking. Unfortunately I live in a pretty rural area so finding a parts car is gonna be tough. I値l see what I can scrounge up.

Do you know if the parking brake is unique to this vehicle or can I hunt for something else that may work?

Thanks for the reply!

Ebay & Paypal can get you about any part you need, if not today, look again tomorrow.

Googling the needed part number also works

no. nobody else had a separate epb for fixed calipers. bmw to this day will not put brembos in the back of the m5 comp because it痴 too expensive

I would go to car-part.com (national directory of junkyards parts catalog), search for the rear brembo calipers or rear separate parkign caliper if they have the level of detail, and start calling the junkyards listed. If they don't list the parking caliper, then look up the yards that have the rear brembos and call them to see if they have the parts you need (b/c they may have the whole car). You probably have an hour or two of phone calls but I bet you'll find it.
