So both electric pumps shoud run with the ignition on and the engine not started? Does the climate system have to be on for the Aux pump to run? I think mine was turned off today when no pumps ran with the ignition on.
That's enough to put the reservoir cap above the S/C full plug so running the pumps will purge the system of air

Both pumps run with the ign on (ign II second click)
If not check the fuses first

If you remove the plastic cap over the front tow point then take out the fog lamp you can access both the S/C pump and the 2 plugs that power the fans. Removing the PWM link will trigger the fan to run

I posted full details in the fan mod thread

Thanks,

I did a search for the fan mod thread but no luck so far; is there a specific string I should search? Or is it in the sticky section? Also, what is the PWM link?

There is a pretty good rain storm here this morning so I am searching the electrical manual pdf for the appropriate fuses and relays to check. I wish there was a good x350 hard copy manual to hold in your hands; doing word searches in the pdf one I often end up in the wrong section. Wish you could search by page number.

+1 on that!

I believe fuse #14 is for the SC pump.
