Hoping this forum can help me out.

My Grandpa has on 07 XJ8 V8 SE and he has paired his phone via the car's Bluetooth and the audio works fine. However, the person on the other end cannot hear him. We don't think it's a microphone fault as the on board voice control still works fine.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try pairing another phone?

 

Yeah, paired it with my phone as well as my Grandpa's and both had the same issue.
