2000 XK8 HVAC Blend door actuator

Hello all, new member to the forum and Jag ownership. We just bought an amazing beautiful 2000 red XK8 convertible. It has only 33000 miles on it but has a couple issues. We just had the stereo replaced this week. Interior upholstery work next week and a new tan top to replace the original black.
Question: The HVAC blend actuator does not change the direction of the air flow. The fan blows loud but will not change the settings. The A/C and heat works. Does anyone have any experience with this issue and have an idea of what the fix should be?
