Hello everyone ,
My 2001 XJR will not start until the second or third try.. Sometimes even more. It always starts but it takes a couple try's.. It's been this way for a few months.. I changed both the fuel pumps but that did nothing. I'm not sure what else it can be.. Any suggestions or opinions will be greatly appreciated..
Thank you.

Best to check the fuel pressure 1st.
Once after you have turned the ignition key (but no start), that will show if your 2nd fuel pump primes the system. If not that could be a cause then.
And next after the car has sat for 2 hours, there should still be pressure (at least 20psi), if not, than most likely the pressure bleeds of via one of the pumps/pipe to the pumps, a leaking injector, or most likely a faulty FPR. The pressure loss will cause the fuel to boil in your fuel rail, which causes long start times.

Thank you ,
Once I turn the ignition key (but no start) there is no pressure.. When I let the car sit for 2 hours and checked it again there was no pressure.. That's why we replaced both the fuel pumps but I still have the same problem.. What should I tell the mechanic when I get to the shop.? I don't want to spend money replacing unnecessary things and I know most mechanic will be glad to do that.

You have 2 problems, 1) The 2nd fuel pump is not functioning, have you checked the fuse? and 2) your system doesn't keep the fuel pressure.
My guess would be the FPR, assuming the pumps have been installed correctly (so pipes are fitted correctly) and if these where the original jaguar pumps. If it weren't Jaguar pumps, it might be that they are faulty in the sense that they can't keep the fuel pressure itself, so do you know what pumps where installed?
