hello everyone - i am looking for a used replacement subframe for this model - the build date is 1/5/2003 - the vin no is SAJAC72N34RG00692 - i am not sure what this unit looks like at the present time -- its an australian car but if i sourced a replacement from the usa would that be a problem with left hand drive etc - hope you can help - kind regards - charlie.

 

There is only a single part number for this subframe, (called a cross-member in the parts catalogue)

Cross member assembly C2C012486

It is apparently supplied from Jaguar with the mounting bushes, but these are available separately

Front bush C2C025613 (two needed)
Rear bush C2C025611 (Two needed)

Also the front subframe, (called a subframe in the catalogue !!), is also a single part number.

 

hello everyone - i took the car into roadbend jaguar at welshpool perth & they accessed the rust on the engine subframe & the verdict was that it in no way compromised the integrity of the subframe - after power brushing & peening plus rust neutralser & paint all was well again - very happy with the outcome - many thanks fraser mitchell for your reply - all the best for now - charlie.
