Hi guys
my 2005 XJR no cranks after I replaced a water damaged ECM from a crashed 2003 XJR.
Now I already reprogrammed the speedo, front&rear electric modules, driver door module and run the immortalized set up. But I still not cranks, and the DTC shows the ecm did not recognize my key. Should I have to replace the key barrel?
Maybe there’s something wrong about my steps of reprogramming modules.
so anyone can show me the step by steps?

 

Check the VIN in the ECU it still may be looking for the key of the crashed vehicle. You do not mention reprogramming it.
