Are 2004-2009 XJR "50 state cars" (non CA car pass CA smog)

Are 2004-2009 XJR "50 state cars" (non CA car pass CA smog)

I'm in california but I'm expanding my search a bit. Does anyone know if all of the 2004-2009 XJRs are 50 state cars? Will they all pass ca smog?

Chances are with the small numbers made (so not worth doing variants) that they were all compliant at the date they were sold.

CA smog seems to occasionally change in unfair ways, so may or may not be compliant now!

99% sure all US cars were California compliant when made. Before travelling / committing, make sure the emissions label on LHS front wheel strut is complete and confirms California compliance. Will it pass now? It should do if its running properly, no engine lights / codes and not been modified. Good luck with search! Cheers, Dave
