Default 2004 Electrical Gremlin Saga Continues

So just a recap. I was having errors for my air ride, proximity sensors and cruise. When my air ride went into hotrod mode all the way down in front all the way up in back I was done.(car runs excellent) At firat it was just proximity sensors now and again beeping, then an air ride fault message but rode fine, then a cruise not available message.....Then permanent cruise message, permanent proximity issue, and my air ride going bananas...

Things I checked along the way

1) Mega fuses- one was a little lose and that caused a bit of melting of things. I repaired it , made sure everything back there was ok. This was early on when things were intermittent. Didnt change anything. In fact my issues which used to be intermittent gradually got worse.
2) I checked resistance at all my earth points, All checked out. (interesting story in a bit)
3) Checked all removable relays and fuses
In the meantime I made sure my SDD was in order and planned to attack the car. I also bought new aluminum bolts, nus, washers etc just in case.

While unbolting one of the front engine compartment earths a little puff of oxidation could be seen. Bolt looked fine though. Cleaned up the connectors and when I went to screw the nut back on the bolt literally fell off.....

So I (really thought I found the issue)

1) drilled it out and made a new ground
2) removed other side, that was good.
3) cleaned up everything, used dielectric grease on all, and bolted everything down tight
4) Checked both for good grounding.
5) conducted a hard reset

I then drove back and forth 20 feet and nothing has changed and all the faults came back.

Grrr.....

I then proceeded to load up my SDD and the mongoose driver seems to be MIA. Tried re downloading it and for some reason I cant seem to get it installed.

So I think I'm again at a loss. Maybe I will need to check to see if the grounds leading to that one earth point are bad somewhere past the connection point. Any ideas are more then welcome!

Don't forget there are two voltages - +ve and -ve. There is a +ve under the car that often deteriorates. What is the voltage at the OBD connector with key on, starting and running? Most basic OBD connectors will show that. You may be able to graph it with Torque.

I had voltage checked when this first started as my first thought was a weak battery as it was 12 years old. I swapped it. Dont recall the voltage offhand but there wasnt a charging issue. I believe once I get my SDD working again I can run some diagnostic checks
