My A/C compressor when out on my Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas. I bought a Denso part number C2C39500 has anyone else bought this very same part and replaced their 2004 XJ8 with? It looks a little different. The car is LHD and no rear controls.

Any info would be great.

Seems i remember needing to transfer something from the old pump.

 

If you have the correct part no and you have bought a Denso it will be fine

Yes I bought Denso C2C39500 and even though my mechanic said at first it's not a fit then after pulling the old and fitting with the new compressor he came to his senses that it was. I also changed the condenser and serpentine belt and all back to normal.
