2004 XJ front hub replacement
Gentlemen,
Have just recently added a new cat to the family, a 2005 XJ8. A beautiful and pristine car with exception to the growling driver's side front bearing/hub assembly. Would anyone have instructionals on replacing said hub assembly and/or special tools required? Very much appreciate all the continued help forum members provide as we would not be able to afford these beautiful cars without it.
Thanks again!

Hi platinummaker,
Congratulations on your pristine new Jag!
If you haven't already done so, you can download the X350 Workshop Manual in six parts from the X350 'HOW TO' quick links near the top of the main page for this X350 forum, or use the links I've copied below. The front wheel bearing and hub is covered in the Chassis section:

I hope you had better luck than I did. I just replaced my front right hub and I swear I had the worst time ever trying to remove it. What finally did it was removing the entire Vertical Link witht the boot/hub still inside of it, and putting it in a 12 ton press. The metals had more or less fused together as if it were welded (Thanks Steel + Aluminum)
Best of luck!
