I put mine back together on the floor jack and have had no problems with the work I did to the arms, tie rod ends and links. It's been about 3 weeks now.
However I am still getting code c2303 reservoir plausibility error. I rebuilt the old compressor and when that didn't work I put in a new compressor. Part of the reason I rebuilt the rear end with new shocks was this code. Anybody have any ideas?

By the way is your car still back to normal? No height issues?

Panelhead,
If you're still following this post I read you had this same problem code c2303 in a 2014 thread. I didn't see a solution in that thread. It just stopped. Did you ever get it fixed?

So far so good. Whole system seems to be working now. Car is level. I can see it raising and lowering at different times, ride seems good.

I was just worried about tightening the rear suspension links while car still raised as looking at jaguar shop manual I downloaded there is big warning statements after EVERY step of tightening to only do when car is sitting on wheels. Which would be a pain for almost all of the nuts, except for bottom of shocks.

Weirdly after the height calibration, my brand new brake pads / rotors started squeaking which really sucks as they had been squeaking for years and the new parts/flush seemed to completely fix it. First test after height calibration they squeaked. Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!

You tried disconnecting your battery lately to see if that resets? Also the "sit in trunk test" to see if rear shocks inflate to compensate for additional weight?

I did the battery disconnect and sat in the trunk. Battery did no good and the driver side went up after I sat in it. The passenger side was up as high as it should go before hand. The driver side went up but did not go back down after I got out. I just got a relay c1803 code also. I switched the relays around under the hood but have not drove it long enough for that code to come back apparently. The c2303 reservoir resets after 20 minutes of no driving but comes back on after I hit about 40 mph ever time.

Well they're tricky little blighters. I never got any warning lights but did get scanner codes. My problems did not go away until mechanic was able to get a guy with the full actual jaguar computer to come in and clear all codes and do height calibration. (My mechanic just bought the latest SnapOn scanner this week finally with all options for $4500 - two things it still won't do on jag, program a key or height adjust calibration...).
The 2303 you're still getting is troubling after replacing compressor. You check for air leaks on top connectors/nuts of all shocks in case it's o rings? Good sign is its not on the ground in the am so system holds pressure I guess.

Final note is I payed to ask a Jag mechanic on JustAnswer.com and he recommended that I definitely loosen all suspension parts while up on a lift and retighten while back on ground as warnings state in shop manual. I'm thinking of biting the bullet and just taking to dealer and asking them to do it as you need an alignment type rack to really do this.

I have not checked for leaks everywhere but I m going to go over it top to bottom for leaks this weekend. It drives and holds air great. The back height is exactly the same on each side and the front is within an 1/8" when checked in the morning and it is not loosing height overnight. If I didn't have the message on the dash I wouldn't know anything is wrong. I am checking around for a shop that has the Jag suspension software but haven't found anyone but the dealer yet. I am near St. Louis. Your guy isn't anywhere near here is he?

As for the Jag mechanic on Just Answer did he by chance say why? I would love to know. I did all the rear end work myself and cannot think of why this would make a difference. Everything was free and not binding up or down. The only adjustable parts were the tie rod ends.

yeah I've asked why there and on this site, no answer. the shop manual says to do this and the billstien and arnott youtube videos say to do the same thing. the jag shop manual has a big warning over and over through the whole section, so it must be for a reason. mine seems fine too, but maybe it contributed to all the suspension leveling grief I had after the rear end work.
I'm in Los Angeles... Have a Lion's Choice sandwich for me!

Well my 2004 XJR that has lived its 90000 miles in MA and NH needs the left lower control arm bushes are shot, the tie rod end and stabilizer link. The right side is somewhat better but will need further inspection before I order parts. Clearly its not simply heat related failure.
