2004 XJ8 Electrical Problems After Front Fuse Box Replaced
I just had to replace the front fusebox as it had a fault in the motherboard we think. Now I have other electrical problems.....car will not respond to remote and the electric air shocks in the front are all the way low. The mechanic used the relays from the old fusebox....could this be the problem?

Hi Mike,
I have moved your post to create your own new thread since the thread you had posted to was on a different topic and had had no activity since 2012.
Off the top of my head the air suspension problem could be related to Relay 1 in the Front Power Distribution Fuse Box (FPDFB) that you replaced. R1 powers the air suspension compressor.
I'm not sure about the remote function but they may need to be reprogrammed. I and others have posted the procedure in this forum so use the Advanced Search function to find the posts.
