Default 2004 XJ8 Replace front left lower wishbone arm

I recently had my 2004 XJ8 in for service, the said they recommended that I Replace right rear sway-bar link (Found right rear sway-bar
link worn/loose).
Replace left rear sway-bar link (Found left rear sway-bar link
worn/loose)
Replace front left lower wishbone arm (Found bushing leak
from front wishbone arm)
Replace front right lower wishbone arm (Found bushing leak
from front wishbone arm).

The cost for this was just under $3000.00. Are these items that I need to replace or are they ones that may degrade ride and tire wear over time and need not be replaced. I love the car, but this is a lot to spend if not really necessary.

Any experience or advice is most appreciated. Thanks.

My Jag is about the same age as yours and I have never replaced any suspension parts.
Are there any clunks or knocking noises or squeaks when you drive it? Wishbone bushes squeak when they fail.Any problems with uneven tyre wear?
I think they have shot themselves in the foot! There is nothing to leak in the wishbone bushes as far as I know! 3000 USD has got to be a rip off! Take it elsewhere for a second opinion.
Ask yourself what can happen if I do nothing? That's cheap!

One of the front bushes in the lower wishbone arm is a 'Hydrabush'. One of them leaked on my X350 (2004/52,000 miles) so I have had both replaced along with the D shaped sway bar bushes and one of the lower shock bushes. The rear end has had a fair bit replaced as well.

You should be able to get the items mentioned replaced for well under $1,000 and probably a lot less.

More info on sourcing the wishbone bush here:

You can buy the remanufactured control arms at Welsh Enterprises: C2C-26835-R is the part number. I paid about $226 a few months ago but I think they've gone up to about $325 now.

Well, my front suspension started squeaking today. It squeaks if I manually bounce eeither front fender, but no noise form bouncing the rears.

Last year, I replaced both front air shocks and lower control arms. It seems strange to me that both upper A arm bushings would start squeaking at the same time. This leads me to suspect the issue is more likelt a sway arm (stabilizer bar) bushing. Do you guys have any other theories?

Replaced both leaking wishbone arm bushings and both sway bar links after purchasing from Rockauto.com. Had local Indie press in and install with whole job costing under $400. parts and labor. Been running for almost a year and 30k miles. No problems.
