2004 XJR, diagram for fuse box
My headlamps, wipers, windows, turn signals stopped working. I assumed I have a blown fuse. However, my fuse box does not have a diagram for the fuses and my is locked in the g/compartment and will not open. All of the issues mentioned occurred simultaneously so figured must be fuse related.

Roc, check fuse F42 (10 amp) in the passenger footwell area. That is most likely your culprit as that is the main power for your front electronics module (controls most of the accessories in your car). While you are at it, also check fuse F12 (10 amp). This is the switchable power to the module and could possibly result in the module thinking that the car never gets turned on, therefore, should not operate the items you describe. If the fuse blows again, it is possible that you have a bad module and you are going to need to replace it here soon. But, at the same time, fuses do "wear out". So, it may be just that the fuse sees a lot of power and has worn itself out and finally has failed.
