Well it seems I found an issue with the front distribution box #17 fuse 10 amp fuse being blown. Upon replacement it blew again. This may explain what's occurring with my buddy's car. Perhaps a water issue? at the computer? Worst case scenario he needs a new computer? How does one go about getting that properly programmed without spending a gazilion dollars at jaguar? Im pulling it out for him tomorrow to see if its wet and can be dried out etc,

Not likely a computer issue.

If you want to, remove and inspect.

I'd look elsewhere...

 

It was dry. Removed the connector. Cleaned everything. Replaced fuse before plugging it back in. Fuse still blew so its elsewhere for sure. Someone mentioned TCM connector which is relatively new. We shall see

 

Well the more I poke around the more Im thinking my TCU pooped out....Errrr
