Default 2004 XJR Jaguar Electrical Issue

Good Afternoon Friends,

Reaching out because I have been physically and financially defeated but would like to save the bit of mental health I have left. Long story short, here it goes...

Bought a 2004 XJR British Racing Green Jag with only 46k miles in it from a dear friend that passed away unfortunately. The car was sitting in his condo's garage spot for about a year collecting dust. Besides the dust, the car needed a tire and a new battery. Bought the two, popped them in and it was roaring louder than the 1920's. Service Records were pulled from Carfax and all of the service maintenance milestone checks were done to the tee by the dealership. The only issue left was repairing the saggy headliner. This is where things went South.... After getting the headliner repaired, I noticed the car started to show the following two errors: RT FRONT TURN LAMP FAILED & FAILED RIGHT SIDE REPEATER. Brought it to a local mechanic to check it out, after spending several weeks in the shop they could not locate the issue and returned my car however I noticed the side mirrors were damaged (bezel melted) and the dimming feature was busted. Assuming it was related to the electrical issue. To make things worse, the battery died and the car wouldn't crank. Seems like whatever happened with the headliner repair created a parasitic electrical draw. Now I have a 04 XJR sitting in front of my house with a dead battery and an electrical issue contributing to all of this mess... Spent over 5k troubleshooting and no answers. I am the point of defeat however everytime I look at the car it reminds me not to give up... Any help is greatly appreciated for a non-mechanic. At the point of selling to someone who can fix her and bring her back to life or donate.

I would be interested to find out what was done to the car when replacing the headliner.

Sounds like something was damaged when a seat was removed or even wiring was damaged when trim was removed. Something along those lines.

Also puzzled as to what the $5k was spent on?

I would want a detailed report on what any mechanic actually did.
