2004 XJR - Source of clunk appears to be the Arnott's Air shocks
#121
Just following up with the solution to the clunk/whack sound I was experiencing when riding over even small bumps. The issue was the Arnott shock on my drivers side. The Arnott shock was less than 3 years old. I replaced both front shocks for about $1400 with the OEM Bilstein shocks and now receive no noises when crossing bumps. A lesson learned for me to always stick with OEM in the future. Also, I did not realize the size difference between the Arnott & the Bilstein until I saw the two next to each other. The Bilstein is heavier & much wider in circumference.
