Greetings,

After much trial and error and venturing beyond the printed instructions, I finally succeeded in getting a Mongoose installed and communicating with SDD, and together they are communicating with our car. After interrogation, SDD says that the Trim of our 2004 is "XJR Sport."

Were more than one trim level available on the X350 XJR, or were all XJRs "XJR Sports" ? Searches here and via google haven't produced any answers.

Also, SDD says the engine in our car is an AJ33, but another source I found stated that the supercharged engine is an AJ34S.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed light on these trivial matters. I really would like to know the answers in case they become important when purchasing parts in the future.

mine is a 2004 XJR Sport as well. I am not aware of any other models of the 2004 XJR.

no clue as to the engine model.
