Where is the VIN nr. location on an 2004 XJR body?
I can see two location - on a dash, on a drivers side sticker. Is there any VIN stamped on a metal (like in a trunk on X308 Jags)?

Yes, according to the manual, on the right side of the trunk, I would assume behind the carpet panel.

If you plug a codereader into the car, it will also tell you the VIN (at least what the instrument cluster thinks the VIN is )

Through the front windscreen, lower left hand side, where the black border surround is on the glass. At least that's where it is on my car !
