2005 Super V8 Another steam bath

Here are a few photos that might be of interest.
The most difficult part of the job was the fiddling near the throttle body. Lots of knuckle scraping and finger cutting surfaces back in those tight spaces.
The first time apart and back together, it took 8-10 hours. Second time, all but for lifting the S/C was less than 4. Once I got it figures out, it was much easier.
Hope this helps.

The small, hooked end of the under S/C hose connects to the throttle body. A second small u-shaped hose connects the throttle body to the EGR. And yet another hose comes back to the front, connecting the EGR to a nipple at the top, front of the engine.
Not all that long ago this last hose sprung a leak near the aforementioned nipple. That made for two leaks on this single circuit of the cooling system within 6 months of each other. That said, I would recommend replacing all three hoses when chasing leaks in this area.
Hope this helps.

Hey RC
Thanks for posting the pics for the hose under the super charger, did you have a need for any special tools like a torqs bit or a swivel for close quarters? While I'm at it and to make only one trip to the dealer what other consumables did you need to finish the job?
I'm thinking about changing the oil in the charger @ the same time and any belts or whatever I find along the way. I will take advantage and change the other knock senser. I already have one sitting on the intake now. LOL
