Well, with lots of help from this forum, I have my VDP just about the way I want her. So a trip to the best detailer in my area for a complete work over.

Got it back from the detailer last night and we took it to the river this morning for pictures. I know it looks just like all the rest, but this one is special...it's mine.

Nice car, I'm surprised to see a VDP without HID's though.... Even my '05 X-Type VDP came with HID's....

The only option on my car is nav. HIDs were optional for the VDP that year.

 

Nice! She cleans up well. Do I spy "Torque" running on the phone on the center console? Also, what device do you have mounted up on the dash in front of the wiper-stalk? (Just curious)

 

You spy correctly. I have a Bluetooth plug from dealextreme.com. That and Torque are a great combo.

The other device is an XM radio. My installer could not get it to fit in the ashtray.

Here in the UK the leaper is illegal, so I have put two full size stick-ons onto the wings, one each side behind the front wheels in the same place my old Series 3 had leaper badges.

I assume "detailing" is the US term for "valeting", or is it more than that?
