I have several new OEM sets for $50, or $5ea for those that have been bitten by tire shop people spinning the lugs with the wrong socket before they realize they got the wrong socket....
When I purchased my XJ8, the lug shroud made noise at low speed like a loose hubcap on a 1984 K car. To be honest, I like the thread engagement all the way down towards the rotor, and the shoulder extending much deeper into the wheel itself. When I was at one of the Big 3, we used to use xray to examine metal stress on hubs/rotors/wheels by lugs, and the torque applied, and you would be surprised at how stress levels increase the further out the lug thread engagement is from the hub. Just sayin'
