Hi all,

Got myself an 05 VDP with 106k miles several months ago and she's been amazing so far, but just yesterday right as I was about to jump on the freeway she fell into limp mode and the LCD gave me:
ENGINE SYSTEMS FAULT
DSC NOT AVAILABLE
ABS FAULT
PARKBRAKE FAULT

The errors all cleared and she came back to life normally after stopping for about 5 minutes, but threw the errors and required another 5 minute break on the way back home. I suspected a failing battery already so today I changed it out for an Excide Sprinter L5/49 950CCA. 20 miles of test driving around town seemed okay so I decided to take her out on my normal commute - and just as I was taking a sharp right to get on the road she died on last time, it happened again!

I do have a check light on but no OBD reader on hand until next week - any suggestions on other things to check in the mean time? Is it likely the throttle position sensor that needs to be replaced, as I've seen in other threads?

I don't see a way to edit but I also wanted to note that the last two days have been the hottest weather I've driven this car in since I got it, if that might be related in some way.

 

Possibly intermittently loosing ABS info from the ring on the rear wheel.
