The passenger side door mirror glass has turned yellowish on 05 XJ8 VP. Can you replace only the glass? Being a VP, the mirrors fold. If I replace the mirror itself, do I have to get a folding mirror (or do the base mirrors fold with the wiring installed in the car)?

You can buy mirror alone and replace it yourself but...
make sure you'll buy not cheap $10 knockout but OEM that would have
at least 3 wires connectors attached to mirror or whatever your car model specifies.
