Default 2005 xjr tcm
Hey Guys, Has any body removed the ECM on a 2005 XJR. I can see it under the glove compartment and it looks like a plastic bracket with one bolt is all there is holding it and once the bracket is removed I could wiggle the ecu out. It cant be this easy ? I just want to check the connections since I have a communication issue with the PCM.

Um, the TCM is inside the trans. The ECM is in that general area and it has a security torx bolt.

Don't bother taking it out. The fault will be elsewhere - commonly the actual tool you're using
