2006 2.7D vacuum pump replacement Is it DIY?
I am so far only familiar with my own ‘96 Daimler Double Six. I am asked by my brother if I am able to replace the vacuum pump and vacuum booster on his 2006 XJ 2.7D. The workshop has estimated it takes them 2 full days to complete. The pump is located on the back side of the engine so not easy to get to. I am trying to determine if I can take on a job like this without disturbing family relations.
Has anyone here got any experience with this as well as replacing the brake booster? Your help is much appreciated.
