Default 2006 Vanden Plas Multiple Problems

Currently the owner of a 2006 Vanden Plas and it has been a great car. All of a sudden the following electrical problems. All these problems happened the same time. 1. Turn on head lights bezel lights around navigation system flashes then goes out. 2. Interior lights inoperative when door opens or try to turn on manually overhead switch. 3. Sun-Roof will not open or close. 4. air-ride will not operate and does not give failure code. 5. Windows will not work. When remote key is pressed and held the windows and sun-roof opened, but will not close when using door switches all four (4) door. When remote key is held in the closed position with key in door Sun-Roof closes, but windows will not. They are stuck in open position. (Car in garage). Taken to dealer and they don't seem to know what it is. Could it be the TPMs.

Sorry Jerry, wrong forum !
Try posting in the X350, X358 forum. You should get plenty of advice.

When our 04 XJ8 started giving us random electrical problems it turned out to be a corroded ground connection. I fixed that and everything was fine again.

May not be your problem, but if the dealer didn't check it I would put that on my list.

Yes it runs fine. I'm wondering if it could be the BCM Body control module. I cannot find anything in the manual where it's located.

How old is the battery? Don't trust it past 4 years. You might remove the cables, clean the posts and reattach. Also the 4 ground studs by each head light could be corroded. Do the cleaning (its free) and report back. I would not buy anything except maybe the battery if it is in fact, over 4 years old.

If you don't have a new battery yet, then attach a charger to the battery. This will supply more than 13 Volts to the system. Don't start the car, but try the sunroof, radio, etc. that don't work now.
I had an XJ8 that would work with less than 12.4V.

Do you mean "wouldn't" work? Good idea assuming its a weak battery, not a loose/ dirty ground.
