Default 2006 XJ8L with a vibe

I'm looking hard at buying an XJ8 to add to the Jag stable. Drove two today, both had a vibration through the seat @ 50mph/80 kph. I'm thinking it is just tyres as they've both been sitting for a while and that seems to be the most common cause of vibration that people report on this forum. Am I right in that or is the driveshaft a potential player too?

Have a look at inside of wheels , they are a soft alloy and tend to buckle quite easily .

3 out of five wheels are buckled on mine , have had wheels balanced and not so
noticeable .

Good luck with that

I had the same vibration. I tried a bunch of stuff (balancing, alignment, new suspension components, etc.) but the thing that ultimately got rid of it was a new transmission mount.
