I am having trouble matching a part number for the hose seen in the attached photo with the swollen section. The second photo shows the number on the hose 4R83-8C289-CB and
only part of the number EPC ECS5D
I looked at the Jaguar IPC but was not able to match it in the diagram. Any idea as to the part number?
I personally got a universal coolant hose from the local auto parts store and spliced it in with clamps. I carefully prided the old one out from the original clamps not to damage the plastic T Fitting.
Depending on the inside diameter of the hose.
Fuel hose makes great coolant lines.
Very pliable when compared to coolant hose.
Sharp bends are much easier to make.
Problem is only smaller I D sizes in fuel hoses.
The old spring clamps will usually fit the fuel hoses.
If you go to the above link you will see a parts diagram with a hose #9 depicted..
If you contact the seller of the hose , that you do not want, and ask for the #9 hose you may have some luck.
I have a spare hose #8 with a parts number on it which how I brought up the listing I reference above.
