2007 jaguar not starting, suspect Neutral safety switch
Guys, please can you help. I've got a beautiful 2007 XJ8 thats been sitting for a year because of a no start situation. With a full battery, when you try to turn the key the car will not engage the starter. Instrument lights come on but no start. I suspect either a neutral safety switch or a linear switch. Any suggestions please?

A fully charged battery isn't the same as a good battery.
1. check the 25A starter solenoid fuse - F19 in engine compartment fuse box
2. check battery lead to ground - multi strand cables are known to break up at the terminal connector
3. check lead to starter
If the above are OK, next action has to be power the starter directly.
