Hi people I'm new to the forum so I hope I'm doing this right. I'm doing a rear brake job on my 2007 XJ8 and cannot get the piston to collapse. I believe I have the parking brake released and have opened the bleeder valve but piston will not move. Any suggestions.......Mike B

These are the tools that I have for Calipers. I use the Tool Set for the rear calipers and the Clamp on the front. The Tool Set clamp applies pressure and turns the piston at the same time.
The third photo shows how the Tool Set Clamp is positioned. (Photo is of Passat so it is a different caliper.)

I have complied a very complete instructions on XJ brake jobs. Read all the attachments also. The electric emergency brake is a complication which requires a retraction tool for the caliper and also a re-set procedure. Follow this and you'll save a lot of time.![Icon Beerchug](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_beerchug.gif)
