2007xjr portfolio vs 2003 str whats faster?

can it really do a 0-60 in 4.5 stock iif an 05 can do 4.8 and its heavier

 

According to Jaguar specs, the 2007 XJR Portfolio is both the lighter and faster car.

>> The 2003 STR is constructed of heavier and more rust-prone steel. Curb weight = 4046 lbs // 390 Hp // 0-60 in 5.3 seconds.

If luxury accoutrements are your thing, than the XJR Portfolio would also be on top over the STR.

I have driven both STR's and XJ Portfolio's with the supercharged engines. I ended up purchasing an 09 Portfolio // it's a fast, powerful, and luxurious beast.

 

Totally different cars, from someone who has had both. You can tell both are great for cruising and have plenty of power and are related but still have plenty of differences.

I promise the STR will out handle an XJ (esp in long body form) all day.

I would drive both and decide which one feels more you. Either way you wont go wrong

Also, 100 lbs wont shave 3/10ths to 60, Its more marketing in this case.

for whatever reason, the str short shifts 1st and 2nd gears so 0-60 i'd imagine the xjr would be a little faster
