Welcome to the forums William,
I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X350 forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.
You will probably find the LH bush on the wiper motor assembly has collapsed:
Worth investigating the precise cause before buying a replacement. List price on the assembly is 303 UKP (+ VAT). You may be lucky if it is the bush to find an aftermarket replacement or repair clip.
Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Well it's a long shot but that exact same thing happened to me on my old 2005 STR.
First remove the passenger side wiper arm. Now look to see if the stud is rotating when you turn the wipers on.
If it is then you have a stripped out passenger side wiper arm so buy a new one. It's a bit odd but the new wiper arms do NOT come with splines to match the stud. They are smooth on the inside.
You put the arm on to make it fit into the position you want it on the windshield and then when you bolt the arm down onto the shaft. The shaft splines cut into the arm and lock it in place.
Mine sheared off in a strange way too?
We had a huge amount of rain and the streets were very flooded. To the point that most 4 lanes could only be driven using the center two lanes of traffic.
Some idiot in a large jacked up 4 wheel drive pick up came blasting up the flooded lane next to me. Well the S Type has rain sensing wipers and when that deluge of water hit my car it triggered the wipers to full/max speed.
It was so much water the passenger side wiper just could not move fast enough under all that water. BAM I now had one wiper working furiously away!!
Sure looked strange but a pretty simple/cheap repair job.
Now if the stud is NOT turning then look at the linkage/bushing GGG posted above.
