Default 2008 XJL Driver Ventilated/Heated Seat issue

Hello, I am the new owner of a 2008 XJL and am working through all the issues it has. One the issues is the drivers seat ventilated/heated functions. One I hit the button on the dash the lights will come on and the seat will blow cold air for a minute or so and then just shut off. After it shuts off I'll hear this clicking sound every 30 seconds or so like it is trying to come back on but cant. Now the passenger seat has none of these issues, runs just fine with either cooled or heated turned on. Any ideas what the issue might be? Thanks!

Following. I have the same issue. I suspect it MIGHT have something to do with the Heated Seat Control Module, but I'm not the least bit sure about that. The module is actually a Ford part. I found a video online where a faulty such part was pulled out of an Expedition or something. In that vehicle the module is fitted underneath the passenger seat I think but in our vehicles I believe it's somewhere in the dashboard.
Of course, I could be wrong about that being part of altogether!

Default Climate Controlled Seats

Hi Yaoi-Wiccan
Information about the climate controlled seats is contained in 688_Advanced_Electrical_2008 training notes. I think this is available for download from JagRepair.com
http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Trai...-JAG_10-08.pdf

I should also say if I restart the car, the seat blower will start working again for a minute or two. Also if I leave the setting on the seat will randomly turn back on for a minute and then turn off.

Exactly same situation here. In addition this behavior also shows with heating, not just cooling.
