Hi,
I’m cleaning up the tanks and found that the float o rings are brittle and broke apart in pieces. One is tan o ring and the other is a o ring that wraps around the float. Is that needed? Can’t find those online.
Any suggestions are appreciated!!
thx, Andy
You have posted in the X350/X358 forum which are far later production vehicles.
You will find the members you are seeking advice from on the XJ6 & XJ12 Series 1, 2 & 3 forum instead.
I would assume those O-rings would not be separate parts but part of the overall sender float assembly.
I can imagine other members may have simply fitted suitably sized fuel safe standard round O-rings at it looks like these possibly only perform an anti-knock function.
A suitably sized brake piston cup seal (trimmed) might also be a retrofit option for the end guard if required.
