Default ABS Module Motor Pin Fix for X350

Hi,

I have an '04 XJ8 with an ABS Fault. The WDS diagnostic directs me to the front passenger wheel with a C1234. The wheel sensor checks out OK with a volt-ohm meter so I plan to replace the hub assembly complete with new wheel sensor.

In the event that the hub and sensor replacement does not correct the problem, I could be looking at an ABS Module fault.

I have successfully performed the motor pin re-solder technique on my '01 XJR to correct its ABS Fault so I am wondering if there is a similar procedure for the ABS Logic Module used on the 2004 XJ8.

If there is a procedure for the '04 ABS Logic Module, can you direct me to it?

Thanks for your help.

Check out this TSB

If you have SDD you can use this to confirm each sensor. Setup a monitor for the sensor and the spin the wheel noting the wheel rotation causes pulses on the monitor

You can do the same thing without SDD but you need a CRO to monitor the sensor input

Cheers
