Sorry, for not keeping a closer relationship with this thread, but I've got some things figured out.

First, thanks to all who have contributed and shared their experiences.

It appears that my ACC module is the culprit. I have checked and rechecked all the suggested stuff and in conjunction with the JLR SDD, the module isn't speaking to the network.

Bad news is that this module appears to be a one-year piece and is all but impossible to locate. If it were in the factory parts channel, it would set me back $2800. Wrecking yards are mum. International markets are similarly void of the part.

On the upside - if I can call it that - an outfit called BBS-Reman (Select Country) does repair them. The quoted cost of the repair is $650 plus back-and-forth shipping.

Everything I've seen suggests I can pull the module and the my car's operation will remain unaffected. I'll still have the silly warning light (unless I can figure out how to make the SDD turn it off), but I can live without the module during the repair.

I'm not in a great hurry, but sometime over the next few months we'll get this thing off to BBA-Reman.
