Question Adding Bluetooth for phone

Hi all,
I want to add Bluetooth to my 2005 VDP. See pictures of my trunk Fibre Op harness. Amp is temporarily removed. Note that there's another Fibre Op connection connection "Labeled BT INLINE". Is it correct that all I have to do is purchase a Bluetooth module (from newer car) and BT Antenna and plug them in?

Thanks,

You need to use SDD: configure your car by adding a BT module, then it need to be programmed as a new module.
The mic in the roof console will also be helpful. If You don't have a Voivce Command, this is a good moment to add it next to BT /so it is a VDP, you probably have it/.
But: I do not know if the system works with removed amplifier, I suggest to install it back.

@Deepstuff I am in process of replacing OEM headunit with "Tesla style" display:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...aguars-248545/
I am putting finishing touches to attach back up camera. Install almost complete. It is a stand along tablet computer with android Auto/Carplay capability; Can do Google navigation and if you desire you can plug in SIM card to make it cell communication capable, mine works fine with my smartphone.
It is not cheap by a long shot. I do not know how much BT module cost. My install did not require any SDD activation.
Its working fine, though I did have some 'close calls' It is made in PRC and you can see it every step though starting with plugs that needs tweaking to be able to plugged in; doublesided tape that needs to be replaced with VHB from 3M right away, etc...

Audio Unit acts as a gateway between D2B/SCP-CAN network. In case of software problems there is no way to diagnose or reprograme it correctly I suppose. I'd rather expand it by Jagdroid but yeah, Android in 350 is a fantastic mod.
