I am pretty sure your options are limited and NOT cheap in Beijing than say, in the US or UK. My advice is look away ... let sleeping dogs lie. Else the ding might come out with the "paintless dent removal kits". The one's you "pop" out. The deep scratch is a seperate issue. Nothing really works (scratch out tubes etc.), so your option is painting the entire door panel or using a nail polish like color matched paint and filling the scratch.

Any good repair shop should be able to get the ding fixed. Being aluminum in this case should not add complexity. Most likely, you'll have to paint the whole door if you want perfect results.

I have had the "Ding Doctor" fix many dings on my VDP to perfect results without paintwork... He comes by my friend's dealership once a week and charges $25 USD a ding.

but I gather from mosesbotbol that it is possible to remove dents & dings in aluminum bodywork. If all I have to do is pay for repainting, I'll be happy.

The dings I had fixed did not have to be painted. They did an amazing job as it looked like my car had hail damage on the roof when I first got it. I think the hail was from transporting from the seller. It wasn't worth it to go after the transportation company or seller...

What I meant with the "let sleeping dogs lie" is "foggaaboutit" As I said earlier if you were in the US there are a ton of "Paintless Dent Repair" places that take care of the dings relatively painlessly and for not too much $$$. However, being in China I am not sure if you have such "paintless dent repair" options. And even if you get the ding/dent repaired there is nothing that works on non surface aka "deep" scratches. You have to get the entire panel painted. I am not sure if that's a good idea for small scratches,so outside of nail polish like color matching bottles there's not much you can do..... hence "let it be".
Hope I clarified it without confusing you some more

Oh and I want to add. If it's a scrape not a scratch then you definetly need panel(s) painted.
