I've looked at the eBay listing more closely, and while the "part finder" table only lists X351s, if you scroll farther down the listing it states that these air springs fit 2004-2009 XJs, and some of the equivalent part numbers listed match those given for X350s at jaguarclassicparts.com, so I've just decided to order one of these Kueen Sing Auto air springs to inspect it and possibly test it since I have three friends who currently each have one leaking front air spring, two on X350s and the other on an X358. Shipping says it will take a couple of weeks to arrive from Malaysia. I'll report back to the forum once it arrives and I've had a chance to test it.

This morning I had a message that my purchase had been cancelled and my payment refunded. Here's the message from eBay:

The seller canceled this order due to the following reason: I'm out of stock or the item is damaged.

Oh well, I'll keep watching the Kueen Sing Auto listings to see if the get more in stock (if any actually ever existed). Given that the seller's feedback rating only shows 2 transactions, I have to wonder if there was ever any stock.

Agreed; the price is so much better than the Aerosus price; probably made by the same people? We need to get to see what the fitting attached to the 'airbag' looks like?

Thank you for getting back to us.

I am really sorry if my previous reply was not clear enough.

Rest assured that our air bag can be fitted to the Bilstein strut - you would just need to dismantle the damper (separate the air spring from the strut) which I can see from the new picture that you already did.

The Jaguar XJ X350 Front Air Spring -164136 comes complete and ready for installation, so that you can simply fit it to the existing strut.

We also made a recommendation for changing the full shock, but that was only because we know some customers prefer to do that, instead of removing the old air bag and replacing it with a new one.

Replacing just the Bilstein air bag with our own and mounting it on the existing strut is of course possible, and the complete assembly (Bilstein strut + Aerosus spring) will function without any issues.
