Air Suspension expensive mistake

Air Suspension expensive mistake
I have a 2005 Jaguar XJ6 (X350) with air suspensions and I have decided to try the conversion kit.
I did the mistake of ordering it from Strutmasters in the USA and had it shipped all the way from the USA to Beirut / Lebanon.
Once here, I have installed the suspensions as well as the bypass module and all went great for the first 3 weeks.
Later I had DSC not available on the dashboard and people at Strutmaster told me that it is not related to the conversion kit, however people at my local Jaguar dealer said it is.
I then called Strutmaster and by checking the VIN number they said that while my car is V6 (European specification) the kit they sent me is ONLY US specs (V8).
With Arnott I found out that their kit caters for ALL X350 (6&8 cylinders). Strangely the air suspension fault on dashboard is still OFF.!!!
I tried to convince people at Arnott if they can sell me only the module and they said that this cannot be done.
Its a nightmare really since i paid a fortune for the kit and the shipment all the way from the USA to the Middle East.
any ideas ???
Learned the hard way that Arnott was a better choice

I converted a friend 2004 Jaguar XJ8 to spring system. All I had to do was unplugged the suspension process module located behind the rear seat. That's it and there was no warning of suspension fault. I am not sure 2005 is different suspension process module than 2004.
I am old school and will never convert to spring shock.

The Dynamic Stability Control system does interface with the Air Suspension by way of the Enhanced Computer Active Technology Suspension system (ECATS), but if your air suspension was the cause of your DSC warning lamp, I would expect you to also have a CATS warning as well.
My first suspicion when the DSC lamp is illuminated is a problem with the Anti-lock Braking System, since DSC is directly integrated with the ABS and relies on the same wheel speed sensors, accelerometers, and control module.
The fastest way to diagnose the issue may be to have your car scanned for stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes with a scan tool or diagnostic system capable of reading the proprietary Chassis (C-prefix) and Network (U-prefix) DTCs. If you don't have a shop in your area with this capability, it would be worth cleaning and testing your wheel speed sensors to see if the DSC warning lamp extinguishes.
Cheers,
Don
