Default air suspension fault

I have a problem the other front of the machine to be raised .diagnostika shows INTO problem to the front height sensor and the tank sensor error code c2303. Do you think the two sensors can be planted out of action together? and what I do with it? Thanks you

Hi Giorgi
These Jaguar cars do get around the world ! From your post, it seems English is not your first language, so I am finding a bit of difficulty understanding your problem. Sorry if I have misunderstood.

Anyway, fault code C2303 normally indicates the air compressor is taking too long to pump-up the air reservoir tank. This can be because of (1) a bad air leak or (2) the compressor piston seal has worn out, so the compressor is not pumping efficiently. Normally, (2) is the cause and a new compressor seal, (or a replacement compressor), cures the fault.

However you also seem to have a problem with the front height sensor too. Have you got the fault code for this ? Please describe what the car is not doing. Is the front too low ?

How manykilometres on the car, and what year

Hello and thank you for your reply.

The vehicle has 180000 miles on it and it is 2004 year model.

The front of the vehicle begins to raise once air pressure has built up and it goes as high as it possibly can go. There is no fault code for the front height sensor. Can this possibly be related to the C2303 fault code? From what you described, no but best to ask.

I got your message Giorgi.

The very first X350's had a height sensor at each front axle, the later models only one. If the software of your Air Suspension Module was updated then it will also only be using one sensor to measure the front axle heights, even though the 2nd sensor is still there.

You mention diagnostics, what equipment do you have available?

The ride height can be calibrated/adjusted, there is an example here in this thread ==>> https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ur-x350-75369/

My one is an earlier model X350 then and I will start off by letting you know that I disconnected the LEFT sensor and the compressor was not working. I then reconnected the LEFT sensor and disconnected the RIGHT sensor and the compressor was working.

I have SDD available on demand. I have read that thread that you linked but unfortunately it will not calibrate. The message that pops up says " Horizontally the vehicle is not the same height " roughly as my mind deceives me.

Is it possible to have a problem with the sensor? Maybe a short circuit? And I was thinking about the fault code that I received and wondered if you knew if there were any valves in the air tank and how they work? eg. one way valve and what causes the open/close of them.

Giorgi, As Fraser said, when I had the C2303 I installed the "ANDY" kit on my compressor. It took care of my problem.
I would suggest this piston ring repair ,before doing anything else. It might eliminate your problems too.
