Exclamation Air suspension test

My wife has a 05 XJ8L. I read a few posts but couldn't find a answer. Is their a way to test the Compressor or Air shocks to see if their is any leaks or if the pump is going bad?

What scanner do i need that can scan both Chasis & Powertain codes for Jaguars? I currently have a simple Actron OBD2 scanner which only pulls up engine codes.

I don't think there is any test routine for leaks, but there is a code that indicates there may be leakage somewhere. This is C2303 and is flagged up when the compressor takes too long to charge the reservoir. This also indicates the compressor is possible on the way out. The other thing is the height measurements showing the car is too low. This is also flagged up as a fault. Jaguar themselves, in the Techical Notes that came out in 2003 say that small leaks are normal as the pressure in the system is quite high, but this is handled by the compressor unless those leaks get a bit too much. The top seal of the air spring unit can develop a slow leak that can be detected using some soapy water.

When I first bought an X350 in 2010 and joined this forum there was a poster who had made up an air spring leak detector using pipe fittings and an air pressure gauge. The poster was 'Brutal' I think.
