Alarm fix/disable

The theft alarm on my 2005 XJ VDP gets false alarms often. I noticed the front suspension lowers a few inches all at once about 5 minutes after parking and that coresponds to the false alarms. Anyone know what might be wrong? Failing that, is there an easy way to disable the systems ability to blow the horn?
Is it possible the car simply knows how good it looks and just wants to draw attention?

Car alarms, don'cha just love 'em ! Nobody takes a blind piece of notice if they go off, so why have them at all !!
A common thing is the volumetric alarm; a bit of wind and off it goes. Try setting to recirculation mode before turning the engine off, and see what happens. This seals off the interior of the car.
