Default Alpha Jag Tune. You need it !!!

I was looking for a tune for my 06 XJR. I did a lot of research. Heard a lot of negative things about off the shelf tunes from Paramount, Eurotoys, Viezu etc. Alex Jag who is on the forum from Alpha Jag Tuning contacted me after I posted questions about mods for my car. Alex delivered. The price was right. The tune was right! Put it this way, I don’t have a dyno slip and I don’t have track times. However, I did run a newer 5.0 Mustang that was NOT stock by any means from 50 to 140 mph (4th gear redline) and he was only about a car length in front. That’s good enough for me knowing those cars are lighter and have more power. All smiles even after the loss. Alex knows his stuff with tuning. The throttle response along with low end torque and high RPM power gains are substantial. Alex is a really cool guy. He’s sends you the equipment, talks you through the process on the phone. 15 mins later your out melting tires. His tune is by far the most effective mod you could do to your car. 100% recommend you do it.

Send me PM.
In general pre 2006 years will require more work since ECU has to be taken out of the car and shipped . Where 2006 + can be reflashed through OBD2

As I have tried to explain above pre 06 will cost more to tune. I do not know what year and extend of mods you have . I do not discuss $ on public forums.

Just curious, I have a friend who has a Jag junkyard. If I bought a ECU from him, & sent it in instead of my original, would it install, or would that be a major headache. I have the sdd software and a laptop to run it on, but have never tried it. 05XJR mostly stock, does have an R power aluminum intake tube.

get the ecu swap it run immobilization set up in SDD. your car assumes the identity of the donor which will turn active cruise on or off depending on how it was optioned and maybe some other stuff.

send your original one run immobilization when you put it back in

Proper way to do that with SDD is to setup ECU as new, this way all your settings meant for your perticular car are retained
