Default Any help would be so appreciated P1235 & P1582

Hello all…ok, I was getting an oxygen sensor code then went through a car wash and she died; which she had never in nearly twenty years done. Turns over but won’t start.

I am receiving codes P1235 & P1582.

Has anyone encountered this issue?

ps.. checked all of the fuel relevant fuses and the inertia switch. Where is the fuel filter??

Thanks so much…B

Fuel filter is on driver side; from underside approximately below driver seat, near B-pillar. You will need to remove plastic cover to access it.
First of all check battery; make sure it is good.
If it is a fuel pressure, check on schrader valve on fuel rail on top of engine.

Fuel pump fault and ECM DATA RECORDER info logged.
37 frames of info leading up to 'the-event'.

You need dealer level diagnostics to interrogate the P1582 ECM regarding the DATA RECORDER.

I know how to access the EDR info with WDS/IDS but have no clue about SDD.
Maybe the SDD will revert to Legacy IDS?

No fuel pressure on the schrader valve. To me it acts like the inertia switch was thrown. However, after pressing the reset I can hear the door locks cycle. Then I looked in my manual to make sure I was doing it correctly and it said to turn key to 0 press button and turn ignition to 2. Performed this and did not hear anything from the door locks. In either case sure still cracks but won’t start.

i was wondering if anyone has every had the same issue with the o2 sensors coding, engine light on then off, the coding again, same behavior then just dying and won’t start? Argh. This is frustrating.

i appreciate your help.

Sounds a lot like a fuel issue to me.
