any "issues" arise when replacing BATTERY that i should know of??
Last week I was having a ceramic coating done on my 2016 Jag XJL 'Portfolio'. One of the guys damaged a pillar panel finish (a plastic like non painted strip between the rear window and the rear backseat window).
Anyway, the shop offered to fix it. They ordered the part from the local Jag dealer and I have an appointment to have them replace it next Monday.
My car is 5 years old and I've been meaning to get a new battery (battery is original). So I asked the Jag dealer to put in a new battery as long as the car is already there.
I'm aware that it will be expensive and that I can probably save a few bucks having an indy do it, but time is important to me so it will be done at the dealership.
Which leads me to the following question......is there anything that I need to be aware of when the battery is replaced (reset codes etc??)?
It seems that these cars always have some weird "quirks" in them and i want to make sure that I am aware of them. Anything specific that I should request the dealer to "do" when replacing the battery?
Sorry for the long winded link!
Thanks

Thanks for all of the information guys!
As I mentioned, I just bought the car six months ago. I’ve looked through all of my files and books and don’t see any radio code.
I got an email from jaguar after I bought the car saying that the dealership changed my “incontrol” password. but I don’t know what that password is either. It looks like it’s pretty easy to reset the password however.
I only use satellite radio on my car. Never AM/FM So not even sure what a radio code would do for me?
I can’t imagine that a Jaguar dealership couldn’t figure out how to install a new battery (on a Jag!) and not mess up the satellite radio but I guess you never know.
Other than the radio, any other issues arise from installing a new battery?
I know on some old Porsches there were a bunch of things that got messed up after a battery was replaced
